Reshuffle in Cabinet

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced a surprise Cabinet reshuffle on Thursday replacing State Minister for Women's Affairs Güldal Akşit with Nimet Çubukçu, Agriculture Minister Sami Güçlü with Mehmet Mehdi Eker and Public Works Minister Zeki Ergezen with Faruk Nafız Özak.

Speaking at a press conference at the Prime Ministry, Erdoğan said the reshuffle meant the launching of a new initiative by the government and thanked the three ministers, who had resigned, for their service
