83,825 petitions gathered for education in mother tongue

In the scope of the campaign 'I ask education in my mother tongue', 83,825 signatures have been gathered in Diyarbakır, the petitions are going to be sent to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) and the European Parliament (EP).

The 'I ask education in my mother tongue' campaign launched in Diyarbakır by several non-governmental organizations have come to conclusion on July 15th. The Offices Platform of the Confederation of Unions of Public Laborers (KESK) and Diyarbakır Office of the Democratic People's Party (DEHAP), which carried the campaign from the beginning, have declared the results on July 15th Friday.
