Report on Turkey's southeast forthcoming from the Armed Forces

Following last week's comments by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the "Kurdish problem" in Turkey, the Command of the Turkish Armed Forces has reportedly begun to prepare a wide-ranging analysis of the situation in the country's southeastern region. The report, which will be presented at an August 23 meeting of the National Security Council (MGK), will apparently make the distinction that there is a "terror" rather than "Kurdish" problem in Turkey.
