Turkish PM will send top advisor Zapsu to Germany before polls

Erdogan pledges support for Schroeder

PM Erdogan calls German Chancellor Schroeder in leadup to next month's German general elections. Erdogan offers to support one of his 'best friends' in Europe during the elections

The PM's closest advisor in the AK Party, Cuneyd Zapsu, will go to Berlin next week to talk about supporting Schroeder. Strategy to save the start of Turkey's EU talks will also be discussed during Zapsu's meetings
