Turkish security body firm on Kurdish separatism

Turkey's top security body, the MGK, said on Tuesday it was determined to fight "terror", in an apparent rebuff to a ceasefire call from banned Kurdish separatist group the PKK.

"The MGK reiterated its determination to fight terror which targets our citizens' right to life, security, peace and welfare," the council said in a statement after a meeting.
