Novelists condemn Turkey for Orhan Pamuk prosecution

Winners and nominees of the renowned British Man Booker prize for novels condemned Turkey for prosecuting Orhan Pamuk, an internationally acclaimed novelist who is facing charges for remarks about the killing of Armenians in the last century amid growing international criticism against the judicial action against him only weeks before the scheduled opening of Turkey's accession talks with the European Union on Oct. 3.
