Second Uzan radio station goes to CanWest consortium

A consortium of Canadian and Turkish companies offered $22.8 million in an auction on Thursday to buy the second Turkish radio station auctioned off in two days.

The sale of Metro FM, one of seven radio stations that once belonged to the Uzan Group and was taken over by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) in order to recoup the debts of Imarbank, is subject to regulatory approval.
