Turkey Unlikely to Reach EU Income Level Within 9 yrs

Turkey will not be able reach the EU level of income per capita for 2014 regardless of how rapidly it grows over the next nine years, according to research released by the Turkish Industrialist's and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD) and the State Planning Institute (DPT), Cihan news agency reports.

The research was conducted based on the estimation that Turkey would conclude its accession talks within nine years.

The research predicts that there could be three scenarios for 2014.
