After Fehriya Erdal fled only one day before she was sentenced to four years in prison by the Bruges Court in Belgium, the Belgium police stormed the “liaison office” of the DHKP-C, Turkish left-wing Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front.
The police set three people free after they were placed under arrest for identification. Some computer tools and documents were confiscated by the police, reporters said. The Belgium news media is nowadays curious as to why the Belgium administration allows the DHKP-C movement to run a liaison office here although the Belgium courts declared the movement to be a terrorist organization. The DHKP-C group is also listed as a terrorist organization, according to the European Union courts.
