Turkish oil company, Pet Oil, will jointly extract oil with a US oil company in the Kifri region of Northern Iraq where rich oil reserves were detected.
The first oil well will be dug next month in Kifri where there is a waste of oil due to the leakages from formerly dug wells. Suggesting that they were about to discover a second Kerkuk (Kirkuk), the owner of Pet Oil Guntekin Koksal added, "We expect billions of barrels of oil here."
