An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the richter scale was recorded by Istanbul's Kandilli Observatory at 6.06 am on Wednesday morning reported The Anatolian News Agency. Athens Oservatory's Geodynamic Institute, however, recorded 4.4. The centre of the quake was near to Turkey's northwest coastline between the Greek islands of Lemnos and Lesbos. There were no reports of any damage.
