Boat carrying illegal immigrants from Turkey to Greece sinks: 10 missing, 4 swim to safety

10 illegal immigrants who were attempting to enter Greece illegally are thought to have lost their lives at sea when the boat carrying them sank.

According to the written statement from the Edirne governor's office, a boat carrying 14 people -12 Iraqis and 2 Turks - sank at a distance of nearly 1km off the coast after one hour of traveling in the Aegean Sea. 3 men and a woman, all of whom were Iraqis, managed to swim ashore.
