Another step has been taken in the fast train project that will reduce the travel time between Ankara and Istanbul 3 hours and 10 minutes. The highest bid for the construction tender of the project's second stage the 155-km Inonu-Kosekoy section of the line was won by the Chinese, leaving behind their British, Japanese, German and Italian rivals.
