A blast in the basement of a building in the Caglayan district of Istanbul has killed one man and wounded seven other people. The man killed was in the process of making a bomb said security officials on Wednesday. "According to the first indications, the explosion happened as a bomb was being made," Istanbul police chief Celalettin Cerrah was quoted as saying by the state-run Anatolian news agency.
