Turkish author and Nobel Literature prize candidate Orhan Pamuk spoke with the German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung about the recent start-up of EU accession talks with Turkey in Luxembourg. Analyzing the events of the past year, Pamuk said he thought that Turkey would fully embrace the idea of Europe in order not to jeopardize its economic growth.
