Death toll reaches 4 in Yuksekova

Four Kurdish demonstrators have been killed in clashes with Turkish security forces when upset Kurds were protesting in the city of Yuksekova (Gewer) in northern Kurdistan (southeastern Turkey) against the Turkish military intelligence agency's bomb attack on a bookstore in the city of Semdinli.

Kurdish demonstrators clashed with Turkish security forces when the security forces blocked the path of the rallying demonstrators. Four demonstrators were killed when Turkish special forces opened fire on the crowd, Yuksekova's Mayor Salih Yildiz reported.
