PUTTING PRESSURE ON A NATION IS THE REAL GENOCIDE, HALACOGLU
ANKARA - An international symposium on ''Turkish-Armenian Relations and 1915 Incidents'' has started at Gazi University in Ankara on Wednesday.
Addressing the opening of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Halacoglu, chairman of the Turkish Historical Society (TTK), said that putting physical and spiritual pressure on a nation was the real genocide. ''We can bring together scholars having different views to set up a commission and we can investigate the issue,'' he added.
