A 25-year-old man died of hypothermia in the western town of Civril, while security forces in the northwestern town of Ipsala found the bodies of two foreigners who apparently froze to death while trying to sneak across the border into Greece.
The nationality of the victims was not immediately known.
A local official in the eastern town of Guroymak was killed when he drove his vehicle into a concrete sign while inspecting efforts to open up roads after heavy snowfall in the region, the Anatolia news agency said.
